KTR also offers explosion-proof certification and American Petroleum Institute (API) approval on certain items in the couplings range. The range can be purchased as individual components or as complete couplings with finished bores, as well as un-bored or pilot bores.
The range can be used in various applications and is manufactured from a variety of materials ranging from steel to nylon, depending on requirements. The torque range can vary from 0.2nm to 582000nm at high and low speeds. KTR couplings are fully machined and balanced resulting in a high standard of quality and reliability.
